Mazzucchelli’s had never sold a piece of jewellery online before we built their store.
from brief to a profitable Shopify storefront, in the middle of the 2020 lockdowns.
across five states and territories, now supported by one online presence.
Shopify, WooCommerce or BigCommerce, chosen on what your business actually needs
And conversion optimisation
Because most stores need it
Which platform, which apps, how products are organised. Get this wrong and you are constrained for years. We have built on all three major platforms and have no stake in which one you pick.
Storefront, product pages, cart and checkout designed as one continuous experience. Most stores are designed as a shopfront and a transaction, which is exactly where the brand falls away.
Development, payment and shipping setup, and testing across devices. Mobile is where most abandonment happens, so it is where most of the testing goes.
Live, then improved. The first version is never the last. Mazzucchelli’s has had a full redesign and a further upgrade since launch, and it earns the attention each time.

117 years offline to profitable in six weeks. When COVID closed all 35 stores in early 2020, we built the 1903-founded jeweller a Shopify storefront that traded profitably from week one. Redesigned in 2022 and upgraded again in 2025.

Sister brand to Mazzucchelli’s within The Jewellery Group, built weeks later on the same platform and the same development partnership. Redesigned in 2022, moved to Shopify Plus in 2024, with a careers section and a loyalty program designed along the way.

A single-product store for Pacific Bio’s first consumer product. We built the brand look, wireframed and designed the site, and took an algae biotechnology company direct to consumers for the first time.
Shopify for most retailers who want to sell rather than maintain a platform. WooCommerce where you need deeper control, unusual integrations, or already run WordPress. We have written up the comparison properly.
Yes. Replatforming is mostly a planning exercise. Product data, URL structure and redirects decide whether you keep your search rankings or start again, and that work happens before anything gets designed.
It depends on catalogue size, integrations and how much of the brand work is already done. A focused Shopify build for a clean catalogue is a very different project to a migration with ERP integration. We scope before quoting.
Usually the unglamorous things. Checkout friction, mobile performance, clear delivery and returns information, and product pages that answer the question a buyer is actually asking. Rarely a redesign of the homepage.
